Belief has always been a subject of contention, for it has always been present in the very core of every living, or undead, entity crossing the streets of this city. And as far as you’ve known, it will always be. Mercenaries may believe in coin, cutthroats believe in revenge, tyrants believe that the stronger must rule, revolutionaries believe in a better world. And you think them all fools.

 

Little they do know of the true faith, enthralling, all-encompassing faith of what lies beyond comprehension of even the . You are the conduit of forces stronger than the fury of the mightiest leviathan. And it falls on your shoulders to rid the world of all that contradicts the powers that be, so that true teachings can be spread of all of the ashes of the old.

 

When you play an ascetic, you gain XP when addressing challenges with fervorous preaching or blind faith. You most than all know how paramount and strong faith really is to how people operate. They are the foundations of society, the cement keeping all the different blocks together. And you’ve decided it’s about time to make some bottom-up renovations.
